Competition: Should You Dominate Them Or Connect With Them?
The truth – it’s both!
Too often in the world of private practice healthcare, we are worried about our competition. Hey, I talk about it all the time as far as how and why you need to dominate them in areas like; Google Review and Patient Video Testimonials, Google Maps Position via Google Business Profile Optimization, and making sure you are shooting more live videos than they do…. to name a few.
However, are you building a relationship with them to build referrals? Let’s face it, a competitor in your community might actually be able to help a patient who you are not getting the results you hoped you were.
Consider putting down the petty aspects of practice and get to know your competitors and see what they specialize in and see if you can open up referral sources that way.
The bottom line – it’s all about the patient and not your ego!
